Sustainably Sourcing and Responsibly Managing Resources
Resources Management
Wood is the most renewable resource used in building. With great respect for the resource, wood is used extensively in timberframe building projects. The Company’s owners insist that progressive forest management and responsible harvesting must be major criteria for selecting vendors.
Salvaged woods are offered when available as an option for clients to consider in projects.
When used, select engineered lumber manufactured from lower grade, small diameter trees is used in projects to support sustainable forest management.
Timber and other board finishes are environmentally neutral and inert.
Timbers unsuitable for creating elegant frames are reused as panels and trim.
